Situated among tranquil Japanese gardens, Ryokan Sanga boasts spacious open-air hot spring baths and classic Japanese-style guest rooms with a relaxing ambience. The cosy lobby lounge comes with comfortable sofas, a fireplace and free Wi-Fi. Free parking is available. Offering a historic charm, each room is fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding, and features a low table and chairs for guests to unwind with. A flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle with tea bags are also provided. Sanga Ryokan offers in-room massages at an extra charge. Guests can purchase souvenirs at the on-site gift shop, or leave their luggage at the front desk. The property is a 50-minute drive from JR Aso Station, or a 5-minute drive from Kurokawa Onsen Bus Stop. Free pick-up shuttles are available from the bus stop if requested at time of booking. Mangan-ji Temple is a 10-minute drive away, and Mount Aso is a 60-minute drive from the ryokan. Lavish Japanese multi-course dinner featuring local beef steak is served in the dining room. Traditional Japanese breakfast is also offered.
